To make Kendyl and Keeley feel like the tour bus is as much their road home as it is his own, Jason tells CMT he allows them to decorate their bunk however they want.
“They went and picked out their own stuff. So Kendyl’s is everything Minnie Mouse, and Keeley has peace signs on everything in her bunk,” he says. “The colors don’t match rest of my bus, but it was their deal. And since they picked it all out, now when they get on the bus, they have something that’s really theirs. It’s important for them to come out and give them their own little space.”
Jason performs this weekend at the Boots and Hearts Festival in Canada.
This past weekend on tour Jason Aldean broke the all-time attendance record at Cheyenne’s Frontier Days. The previous record was held by George Strait.
“It’s such an unbelievable thing to even have your name uttered in the same breath as a guy like that,” Jason says. “Strait is probably the best country singer of the last century in my opinion. I can only hope for a career that lasts half as long as his…there is still no one cooler than King George!”
Jason sold 24,457 tickets to the show and walk-up lines were wrapped around the front gate.
