For the first-time ever, Forbes has ranked the biggest cash kings and queens of country, revealing the past year’s 10 biggest earners in the genre.
Topping the publication’s list is Toby Keith, whose $65 million paycheck last year earned him a spot on the cover of Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Celebrities issue.
With his music, tours and I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant chain, Toby is easily country’s biggest moneymaker.
Coming in at No. 2 is country’s crossover phenomenon Taylor Swift with $55 million to her name.
The Brothers of the Sun Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw finished third and fourth, respectively.
Carrie Underwood rounds out the top five with her $31 million paycheck. Her CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley finished just behind Carrie at No. 6 with $30 million, and Zac Brown Band landed at No. 7 with $26 million.
Rascal Flatts, George Strait and Jason Aldean (who tied with Luke Bryan) rounded out the top 10 on the Highest-Paid Country Music Acts list.
Narrowly missing the top 10 is Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
