Two members of Congress are requesting the Treasury Department investigate whether the duo violated the 50-year-old U.S. embargo which prohibits travel to Cuba.
The investigation would include finding information on what type of license Bey and Jay received to go on the trip, who approved the travel and for what purpose.
Many Americans travel to Cuba and avoid the ban by entering from a third country like Jamaica or Canada and requesting that Cuban immigration not stamp their passport as evidence.
Those Americans found in violation face sanctions including heavy fines.
