Taylor Swift kicked off her Red Tour last night in Omaha, Neb., and her usual storybooks and fairytales were nowhere to be found on the set list.

The country megastar reveals to MTV why the explosive new tour is rated R – for real!

“I think on my previous albums and my previous tours I’ve really liked to operate in the element of fantasy,” Taylor says, “and I think that this tour will incorporate a little more reality into the visuals, which is nice.”

The tour may be entering the real world, but could some performs get an R for risqué?

“The visuals kind of portrayed on this tour will be, I guess, more grown-up and a little more mature than things we’ve done in the past,” she says.
