Luke Bryan dropped by E!’s Chelsea Lately this week, and host Chelsea Handler made quite the country comparison between the country megastar and Blake Shelton.

“This is the sexy version of Blake Shelton,” she says. “You’re younger. You’re more sober. You’re cooler.”

Maybe things will get a little more serious when Luke joins Blake as co-host of the 48^th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards next month – or maybe not.

“Blake is never serious – like never,” Luke tells the funny woman. “He will take you down a false road of seriousness. Then, he’ll just let it out there and freak the whole room out. He’s essentially planning on doing that to the whole nation.”
