Kelly Clarkson is digging up some age-old Clarkson family history as the newest celebrity to take part in the popular series “Who Do You Think You Are?”

The Texas native was spotted in Americus, Georgia, while filming a segment for the docu-series at the Andersonville National Historic Site.

The location is the home of a confederate military prison where 45,000 soldiers were held during the Civil War.

Kelly isn’t the first star with country ties to appear on the show. Tim McGraw, Wynonna as well as Kelly’s future mother-in-law Reba has also filmed episodes of the show.

No word yet on when Kelly’s episode will air on the TLC show.
