Miranda Lambert may be locked and reloaded on the tour this year, but a member of her crew isn’t ready to rock – she’s ready to retire.

The country megastar reveals to CMT her pooch Delilah, her first rescue dog, is now retiring.

“She’s just over it,” Miranda says. “So she stays with my grandmother.”

The white terrier mix may be off the road, but Miranda has 5 other rescue dogs who can take over. In fact, she goes on to mention her smallest dogs Cher and Delta will still accompany her on tour.

It’s about making up for lost time with her rescue dogs, Miranda says.

She isn’t the only country megastar with pups on the road. Carrie Underwood also keeps her dogs, Ace and Penny, nearby when she’s on tour.
