Luke Bryan’s got a secret weapon when he joins Blake Shelton as co-host at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards: Miranda Lambert.

The country megastar revealed to reporters recently he’s already figuring out how to fire back at Blake during the big show.

“Maybe I need to talk to Miranda [Lambert] and learn if there’s a slap or a punch or a look,” he jokes. “I’m sure she knows that look or that mechanism to shut him down.”

And it’s those shut-down shenanigans that Luke says will make this year’s show a must-see.

“This is something the fans have got to see,” he says, “even though I know I’ll be the brunt of a lot of jokes and a lot of ridicule from Blake.”

Luke describes Blake as his “brother from another mother,” and when they hang out, they always wind up “cracking each other up and drinking too long into the night.”

If that’s any indication of how ACM night will turn out, fans are in for a treat. The ACM Awards air April 7^th on CBS.
