Miranda Lambert has never been shy about her love for Beyoncé, and as it turns out, Beyoncé is a big fan of hers, too.

The country megastar revealed to CMT she and Beyoncé chatted during the recent Grammy Awards telecast.

“I tapped her on the shoulder and just told her I was a huge fan and that she was a big inspiration to me,” Miranda says. “I just talked to her like a genuine fan…. And she said, ‘I’m a fan of you and your husband.’”

Miranda mentions she never wants to feel as though she’s too big to be a fan of someone else.

“To me, if I lose my passion for being a fan of other people,” she says, “then I think I’ve lost my passion for music altogether, and maybe I need to take a break.”

She even plans to attend Beyoncé’s upcoming Dallas concert.

Miranda and Blake were recently listed as one of E! Online’s “Top 5 Power Couples of 2013,” along with Beyoncé and her rap mogul hubby Jay-Z.
