When it comes to the former flames Taylor Swift writes about in her chart-topping break-up anthems, there is a select group of people to whom Taylor has named names!

The country megastar may prefer to keep her fans guessing, but she’s an open book to her co-writers.

“If I tell them everything I’m going through,” Taylor says, “then it’s easier to write about it.”

Taylor goes on to say telling her songwriting partners every last detail of her heartbreak helps the songwriting process to happen more naturally.

“So I’ll walk into a room with a co-writer and just say, ‘Hey. Nice to meet you. So like, I just met this guy and blah, blah,’” she says.

Taylor just earned five Academy of Country Music Awards nominations, including for “Entertainer of the Year.” The ACMs air April 7^th at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
