If a picture says a thousand words, Carrie Underwood will soon have a lot to say.

The country megastar is the newest celebrity to join the picture-sharing app Instagram. Carrie took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“Hi guys, to kick off the second half of the ‘Blown Away’ tour,” she posted, “I’ve joined Instagram!”

While the singer made headlines in 2012 after becoming one of the last country stars to join the Twitter-verse, she appears to be ahead of the curve when it comes to her country counterparts on Instagram.

Other country stars who have jumped on the Instagram bandwagon include Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Taylor Swift.

So far Carrie has posted snap shots of her dogs Ace and Penny and even her break for oxygen during a recent concert stop “in high altitudes.”
