Taylor Swift screams at the top of her lungs in front of thousands of people on stage, but when it comes to life offstage, the country megastar keeps quiet.

Taylor strikes a pose on the March issue of Elle magazine, and inside she reveals why she’s never been one to raise her voice at anyone.

“I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.”

And speaking of ex-boyfriends, Taylor also tells the mag she takes offense to the many rumors she’s hunting down Hollywood’s hunkiest.

“I never chase boys,” she says. “They don’t like it!”
