Inching ever closer to her third year of marriage, Miranda Lambert recently revealed to E! News the secrets to keeping a holy (and sultry) matrimony.

Rule No. 1 of keeping Miranda’s flame burning for Blake is to pencil him into her schedule.

“Make time for him at least once a week,” she says.

The second secret is to always communicate. Miranda discloses that she isn’t a talking-on-the-phone kind of girl, but she compromises by texting Blake as much as possible.

And the final rule of keeping a spicy relationship is to always show some puppy love.

“I’m a passionate dog lover,” she says. “Don’t forget your four-legged friends need unconditional love, too!”
