After nearly two decades since tying the knot, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have had lots of romantic vacations away, but one in particular involved a blindfold and… Rod Stewart.

The couple reveals to Us Weekly a surprise vacation to Key West serves as their most memorable.

“We went to see Rod Stewart one year…I remember he was going into his encore,” Faith says, “and you pulled me out of the seat. I was like, ‘What are you doing? I have to see Rod Stewart sing.’ Then you blindfolded me and put me into the car. We went to the airport and got a plane.”

Tim interjects that the surprise trip to tropical paradise didn’t turn out as planned, though.

“It wasn’t that great. It rained the whole time.”

Tim and Faith continue their headlining stint at The Venetian Las Vegas through April 2013.
