Before music’s biggest stars take over the 2013 Grammy Awards this weekend, Taylor Swift will take part in a behind-the-scenes CBS special.

The special will detail the impact superstar Whitney Houston’s death had on the 2012 Grammy Awards.

The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family will recount the Grammy’s scramble last year after learning of Whitney’s death 24 hours before the broadcast.

The special includes interviews with LL Cool J, Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and other artists.

The hour-long special is scheduled for Feb. 9, the eve of this year’s music awards.

Hunter Hayes has been announced as a presenter at the Grammys, while Kelly Clarkson has been announced as a performer.
