Dierks Bentley just cracked the Top 10 with his latest hit “Tip It On Back,” and he’s not stopping until it claims the top spot on the charts!

But while on tour with Miranda Lambert, he’s already hard at work on his next album.

“I’m definitely writing songs and working on the next record, too,” he says. “It’s all just kind of on top of itself. Every year I always think there’s going to be some sort of…get in that mold where you can tour then take time off and then write a record. But, it’s all just tossed together.”

“Merry Go ‘Round” singer Kacey Musgraves recently posted a picture on Twitter of the two in the studio.

She added, “Stoked for Dierks Bentley’s next record – I just threw a little harmony on it!”

No word yet on when Dierks’ new album will drop. Dierks’ and Miranda’s “Locked and Reloaded Tour” rolls into Illinios on Feb. 14.
