When Miranda Lambert’s dogs go on the road with her, one in particular isn’t exactly spending quality time with mom.

The country superstar reveals to People magazine her pooch Betty plays favorites.

“Betty is one of our dogs that we take on tour with us as well, but she’s kind of a daddy’s girl,” Miranda says, “so she hangs out with Blake a lot.”

While Miranda doesn’t hold any resentment towards Betty, she’s sure to make certain none of her six rescue dogs get on any high horse.

“I have a Chihuahua…and I have to remind her of her roots,” she says. “I tell her that she did not grow up in Bel Air. She came from a shelter in East Texas. I have to keep her humble.”

Miranda recently partnered with the “Pedigree Feeding Project” to award one deserving animal shelter a year’s supply of dog food.

Her “Locked and Reloaded” tour with Dierks Bentley picks up again Feb. 14 in Dekalb, Illinois.
