Miranda Lambert is taking sides when it comes to speculation Beyoncé may have lip-synched the National Anthem during this week’s Presidential Inauguration – and that side’s to the left, to the left.

The country megastar and Beyoncé fan spoke out about the possible Star-Spangled Bluff to Yahoo! at a recent red carpet event.

“I don’t think it matters,” she says. “It’s Beyoncé. She can do whatever the hell she wants!”

The performance given by Miranda’s buddy Kelly Clarkson at the ceremony sparked no controversy, and Miranda’s not surprised.

“I would love to sing with Kelly Clarkson if I ever get the guts—she’s amazing,” she says. “I sang with her onstage in Colorado and…I just wanted to crawl in a hole.”

Miranda may also be a little jealous of Kelly’s new friendship with Bey.

“I saw Kelly’s Twitter,” Miranda says, “and she was hanging out with Beyoncé at [the inauguration], I was like ‘Really? My two favorite girls?’”

Miranda kicked off every performance on her 2012 “On Fire” tour with Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls),” and she’s currently on the new “Locked and Reloaded” tour with Dierks Bentley.
