The country megastar dished on the Lambert family genes and the sibling rivalry she had with her younger brother Luke growing up.
“Everything he touches turns to gold, and he’s smarter than me, taller than me and cooler than me,” Miranda says. “He got the brains in the family. He’s really smart.”
Miranda says while she got the musical gene in the family, she’s glad her brother, who happens to run Miranda’s website, got the brains.
Speaking of family, she also revealed how she’s making her closest of kin plan her big 30th birthday party in 2013.
“I told…everyone ‘Y’all better plan an awesome party for me. Please don’t make me do it.’ Because I’m the planner… I like to plan parties.”
In the meantime, Miranda returns to the road with Dierks Bentley on the “Locked and Reloaded” tour, rolling into Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday.
Miranda also revealed exclusively on The Talk that she will perform on the upcoming GRAMMY Awards Feb. 10 on CBS.
Miranda joins a long list of announced performers, including Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. The singer is up for “Best Country Album” for “For the Record.”
