It’s a boy for Shakira and her Spanish footballer boyfriend Gerard Piqué!

The new coach on The Voice Shakira welcomed her first child Milan Piqué Memnarak into the world this week.

The couple reveals the name means “dear, loving and gracious” in Slavic, “eager and laborious” in Ancient Roman and “unification” in Sanskrit.

According to a statement released on Shakira’s website, baby Milan weighed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces and “both mother and child are in excellent health.”

The statement goes on to say the little one entered the world already of member of dad’s professional soccer team FC Barcelona.
