• VID: Hunter Hayes Doubling at Double 07 for ACM Votes

    Posted: Jan 23, 2013

hunter-hayes-5Hunter Hayes is pulling out all the stops to earn your vote for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” at the upcoming ACM Awards, including embarking on a mission fit for a Bond… James Bond.

The country superstar, who is up against Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert for the trophy, doubled as 007 in a new series of videos to remind his fans “One Vote is Not Enough.”

“We basically had a ton of fun shooting a bunch of goofy James Bond type videos,” Hunter says. “My goal was if I were to be James Bond what would it be like? And we ended up with these random, awkward and goofy videos – which is what we wanted! Just to remind the folks that voting is open.”

In the first video, the “Wanted” singer drives around in a swanky Aston Martin with the objective to “Track Down Voting Device.”

To vote for the newcomer ACM categories, check out www.voteACM.com until Feb. 4th.

Hunter’s cross-over smash hit “Wanted” was just certified Double Platinum for selling more than 2 million copies.
