Taylor Swift was the center of another relationship joke at the recent Golden Globe Awards, but the country megastar may be getting the last laugh.

Co-host Tina Fey quipped to the GG audience that Taylor should “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son.”

Cameras may not have shown Taylor’s reaction following the jab, but Taylor’s not staying quiet on Twitter.

“Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good,” Taylor posted Friday. “Thank you for having my back.”

Before Taylor’s kiss-and-make-up tweet, the former Spin City star told New York Magazine’s Vulture he wouldn’t be in favor of the country star dating his son Sam.

“Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?” he asked. “What a way to build a career!”

Taylor, who has rarely spoken about such controversy, is newly single after calling it quits with One Direction singer Harry Styles.
