Jana Kramer broke the news to Cody last week she was living with boyfriend Brantley Gilbert, and now the couple have revealed they’re engaged!Brantley popped the question on his 28th birthday with the historic Ryman auditorium as the backdrop.

“We could not be happier!” the couple tells People. “We are so excited to share this special time with our loved ones and cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together.”

Jana tells the mag Brantley asked her mom for permission before he got down on one knee.

The couple, who are both nominated in best new vocalist categories at the upcoming ACM Awards, has been dating for approximately one year.

Jana hits the road with Blake Shelton’s “Ten Times Crazier” tour this summer, while Brantley’s booked as an opening act on Tim McGraw’s “Two Lanes of Freedom 2013” tour.
