Carrie Underwood’s biggest hit may be a bona fide country cheatin’ song, but when it comes to her own life, the megastar recently revealed why she’ll never encounter a real-life “Before He Cheats” situation.

The singer graces the cover of the February issue of Allure and inside takes on tough subjects like her recent support of gay marriage and why her hockey athlete husband would never betray her.

“We’ve seen a lot of celebrities, professional athletes, not exactly always being on their best behavior away from…families,” Carrie says. “People would say, ‘Do you ever worry that he’s an athlete, he’s young, he’s good-looking?’ And I’ve never had to worry about him because I’ve never trusted anybody so completely…”

Carrie’s marriage aside, she’s been outspoken in the past when it comes to her support of gay marriage, and she explains to the mag exactly where she’s coming from.

“I feel no matter who you are, what you believe, how you live your life, it’s not my place to judge… It’s my place to love and to show God’s love to other people, even if they don’t live a life like I live,” she says.
