The country megastar’s hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators is back to work, a bittersweet reality Carrie’s come to accept.

“Well, folks, hockey is back!” she Tweeted on Sunday. “I just lost my purse holder but gained cheering on my hot husband as he kicks butt! #GoPreds.”

Mike made light of the situation, too, when he spoke to Cody on the Artists of the Year red carpet. So what’s the country lyric that best describes his thoughts on the lockout? Cody found out…

“I don’t like it. I don’t love it. I don’t want more of it,” Mike joked.

The sports superstar released a statement on his website. “It’s nice to finally be able to put this behind us and we can finally start thinking about hockey again.”
