• Which Flick’s Off to a Million-Dollar Start in 2013?

    TheHobbitThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the New Year’s biggest blockbuster… so far.

    On New Year’s Day alone, the movie raked in $9.5 million.

    The Hobbit even beat out Christmas Day releases Django Unchained and Les Miserables to maintain the No. 1 spot on the box office charts.

    The flick hit the box office mid-December and has already raked in an estimated $238.1 million to date domestically and more than $470 million overseas.

    Hitting the box office this weekend is the Matt Damon-fronted Promised Land, Texas Chainsaw 3D and The Impossible.
