Hunter Hayes has a huge career, some Grammy nominations and plenty of potential girlfriends knocking on his front door… but Hunter isn’t answering.

At least not yet.

The country superstar told CMT he’s instead focused on his music at the moment.

“I am so devoted to the thing that I’m passionate about and I spend so much time with it — the music — that I just want to make sure that when I am in a relationship, I’m not distracted,” he says.

Plus, Hunter mentions he doesn’t want his future relationship to be all about him.

“I also want to make sure I can support them and they can support me, and whatever crazy thing we’ve got going on,” he says. “Because whatever they’re into, I want to make sure I’m their biggest fan.”
