What’s the movie that’s turning Aldean into an actor?

Jason will make his acting debut at Sundance Film Festival in the movie Sweetwater, which also stars January Jones and Ed Harris.

In early 2012, rumors started ciruclating that the country megastar would begin to dabble in acting to see how he liked it. And he hinted to Dan Van of Albright and O’Malley during that time that he would make his debut in Sweetwater.

“We had a movie script that came last year,” he said, ”a western style kind of thing that Ed Harris was slated to play in so we’ve had a couple of things like that to have come along.”

To test the waters, Jason  says his first part in a movie will be a small one.

“First of all, I might suck at it and second of all, I may realize it’s something I am not interested in,” he said.

No word yet on when Sweetwater will hit theaters.
