Les Miserables is breaking records before it’s even been released.

According to Fandango.com, the movie, which stars Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and others, is the No. 1 selling film in advance Christmas ticket sales, beating out Sherlock Holmes in 2009.

The drama has also sold the most advanced tickets ever for a musical.

It toppled the record set in 2006 by Dream Girls. Les Miserables officially hits theaters Christmas Day.

In other movie news, a teddy bear and a crazy news anchor is on their way back. Ted, the movie which follows a deranged teddy bear, is coming back for a sequel.

That’s what star Mark Wahlberg has said anyway. No official word from the movie studio.

Meanwhile, Anchorman 2 has officially gotten a release date. One year from today Anchorman 2 will hit the box office.
