When all the drama of the Real Housewives franchise comes to Nashville, could Carrie Underwood be getting in on the sizzle?

After all, she is pretty real, and she is a wife. But she says she’s not a real housewife.

The country megastar reveals to the Chicago Tribune that her home life is off limits!

“My time on Idol… there were so many cameras on us all the time,” Carrie says. “I could never get used to it. I don’t know how people get used to having cameras on them in their daily lives.”

Plus, Carrie mentions she doesn’t want the world to bear witness to her messy house. “I’m a private person too,” she says, “and we don’t ever film anything in our home.”

But when it comes to the attention Music City is getting on the small screen these days, Carrie’s on board.

“I’m excited for us as a community… It seems like Nashville is getting more spotlight on the town as a whole.”

The ABC show recently aired its winter finale and will return in 2013 with brand-new episodes.
