• The Cost to Get Taylor Swift Talking Song Inspirations

    Posted: Dec 10, 2012

Fans have been left guessing who Taylor’s Swift’s chart-topping breakup hits are about, but the Taylor may let the cat out of the bag… for a price.

Taylor told Nashville Gab she would finally speak now about the culprit of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” for “a stupid amount of money.”

Carly Simon did a similar thing when she told one person the inspiration for her hit “You’re So Vain.” In exchange, the person donated $50,000 to charity.

But 50K isn’t enough for Taylor.

“I feel like it would need to be like…six figures,” she says.

The singer goes on to say she would only tell that one person and he or she would be required to sign a confidentiality agreement, staying they would never, EVER spill the beans to anyone else.

Anyone want to start a cash collection?

In related news, “WANEGBT” was named No. 4 on Time magazine’s Top 10 Songs of 2012. The track was also No. 2 on Rolling Stone ’s list of the 50 Best Songs of 2012.

And yet another record broken for the song… “WANEGBT” is now the longest-running No. 1 country song on the Billboard charts.
