While the world awaits a visit from St. Nick this holiday season, the white-bearded gift giver is awaiting his own visit from… Jason Aldean?

The country rocker revealed to People he and his two daughters will soon pay Santa Claus a visit.

“Things like taking the girls to the mall to shop or to see Santa Claus… Things that simple to me are really cool,” Jason says.

It’s been a year of professional highs and personal lows for the singer, but he says the good far outweighs the bad.

“I’m on the road so much during the year,” he says, “so what I look forward to the most is being home with my family.”

Jason returns to the road in 2013 on his Night Train tour with opening acts Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.
