The nominations for the 55^th Annual Grammy Awards were just announced this week, but Keith Urban may be in the running for another big-time award.

According to Deadline, the country superstar’s song “For You” has been submitted to be considered for an Oscar nomination in the Original Song category.

Keith released the song for the military action flick Act of Valor.

“I asked myself ‘Was there something I would die for?’ Certainly, in my case, it was my family. That was the spirit of the song for me,” he says.

Other potential contenders include the movies Silver Linings Playbook, Wreck-It Ralph and Les Miserables.

The nominations for the 85^th Annual Academy Awards will be revealed January 10^th before the big show on February 24^th.
