Carrie Underwood is one of country’s foremost vocalists, and her husband Mike Fisher is a superstar hockey athlete.

But when the two trade talents, the critiques start flying!

By Carrie’s side on the CMT Artists of the Year red carpet, Mike revealed he sings at home, in the car and even in the shower… much, we gather, to Carrie’s dismay.

“I have the worst critic in the world critiquing my singing,” Mike says. “It’s a little hard, but I get by. She gets a kick out of it.”

Carrie calls her hubby’s singing “very intense” and admits if she tried to step on Mike’s turf in the hockey rink, he’d have a few critiques himself.

Sticking to what she’s good at, Carrie will appear on the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year special, when the honorees will finally be unveiled.
