When the boys of Rascal Flatts are finished co-hosting Saturday night’s 2012 CMT Artists of Year special, they’ll put their hosting shoes back on in no time.

Gary, Jay and Joe Don will host CBS’s A Home for the Holidays with Rascal Flatts.

The 14^th annual special, which will tell touching stories of adoption, will also feature a performance from the Flatts as well as Melissa Etheridge, Matchbox Twenty and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.

A Home for the Holidays with Rascal Flatts will air Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

In related Flatts news, the trio is the latest country artists to get their classic songs turned into lullabies.

The Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star line by the Roma Music group has released many country lullaby versions, including ones of Kenny Chesney’s, Jason Aldean’s and Taylor Swift’s biggest hits.
