Keith Urban is living la vida loca as a new judge on American Idol, so he’s already been replaced over at his old judging gig on The Voice Australia.

Filling the vacant spinning red chair left by the country superstar is none-other than Latin sensation Ricky Martin.

“Sending some mad love to everyone in #Australia,” Ricky tweeted this week to followers. “Cant wait to go back!”

The current star of Broadway’s Evita will join Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Seal on the panel.

“Ricky Martin is one of the world’s biggest stars,” said a Nine network executive. “He brings huge experience to our panel of coaches, which he’ll pass on to our Australian Voice artists in 2013.”

Ricky will exit his role in Evita this January, the same month Idol kicks off its brand-new season with Keith and fellow judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.
