Rascal Flatts poked a little fun at Blake Shelton during a recent appearance on E!’s Chelsea Lately, and now Blake’s poking back!

The country conflict started when the Flatts first dropped by Chelsea Handler’s late-night talk show and took all the credit for The Voice coach’s mega success.

“We got him to cut that nasty mullet,” the band’s Jay said. Added Gary, “For a while there, it was like ‘Billy Ray Shelton.’”

And the funny lady tattled on Gary, Jay and Joe Don when Blake joined the show this week to promote his new TV special Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas.

“Don’t you feel like when you’re looking at those three that you’re looking at a Rice Krispy box?” Blake teased. ”It’s like Snap, Crackle and Pop.” 

Could this be the start of a back-and-forth country conflict?
