Now that the dust has settled on Jason Aldean’s recent photo scandal with the paparazzi, the country megastar is proving just how united he and his wife Jessica Ussery remain.

The couple appeared together Thursday for their first-ever joint interview with CBS This Morning, and Jason revealed his marriage hasn’t always been butterflies and roses.

“I think we’re fine, you know? I think anytime you go through anything like that, it’s tough,” Jason says. “We’ve been together for a long time and been through a lot of things together.”

The two are high school sweethearts and have been married for 11 years.

Jason adds, “Go ask any couple that’s been married 30, 40, 50 years…I can guarantee it hadn’t always been roses.” Jessica chimed in, “I would love to hear their story.”

The couple has two children together – Keeley, 9, and Kendyl, 5.

Jason will kick off his 2013 Night Train tour with opening acts Thomas Rhett and Jake Owen in Bossier City, Louisiana on Feb. 21^st.
