• PHOTOS: Why’s Shania Twain Stopping Traffic in Las Vegas?

    Posted: Nov 15, 2012

Shania Twain may not officially kick off her headlining shows in Las Vegas until next month, but the international superstar is already making her grand entrance!

A Shania stampede shut down a portion of the world-famous Las Vegas strip this week when she officially arrived at her new home in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Shania stopped traffic with a little help from 40 horses, and she herself arrived on horseback.

Talk about an entrance! Fans lined the Vegas strip to welcome Shania while her iconic song “Still The One” blasted through speakers.

While her two-year run in Sin City begins December 1st, Garth Brooks’ stay at the Wynn ends, as the legend just wrapped his two-year-long headlining gig there. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill also kick off their shows at the Venetian next month.
