These days the Hollywood A-list are spotted on the streets of Nashville on the regular, and when vampire favorite Robert Pattinson paid the city a visit, he had an awkward encounter with Brad Paisley.

Robert dropped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to dish about his Paisley run-in during a shopping spree a popular music instrument store.

“Every single time I touched a guitar they were like, ‘Do you want this guy Brad to play it?’ And I was like, ‘Well…’ I just thought he was a guy who worked there. I had no idea who he was.”

Once the awkwardness subsided, the Twilight heart throb joked that Brad was probably impressed with the two chords he knew how to play.

Robert also admitted to the late-night host that he’s a huge fan of Brad’s CMA Award co-host Carrie Underwood.
