Taylor Swift may wear the pants when it comes to her superstar career, but in dating, she’s going pant-less – sort of.

In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Taylor reveals she likes her man to take the lead in relationships.

“It needs to be equal,” she says. “If I feel too much like I’m wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable and then we break up.”

And then they never, ever get back together. But seriously, Taylor goes on to mention that relationships should be “the ultimate collaboration.”

Still, she says, “It’s wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions, you know? That is a huge defining factor in who you choose to be with.”

In other Taylor news, ABC has officially announced Taylor Swift will bring in 2013 as the headliner of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with host Ryan Seacrest.

Taylor’s also announced two special VIP ticket packages for concert goers of her upcoming “Red Tour.”

One package offers one floor ticket in the first 20 rows, an autographed copy of Red and access to the pre-show VIP lounge. The second option includes one lower level ticket and a gift bag.

The “Red Tour” kicks off March 13^th in Omaha, Nebraska.
