Carrie Underwood may as well become an honorary member of Aerosmith…

Rumors surfaced earlier this summer that Carrie Underwood would duet with Steven Tyler on Aerosmith’s new album Music from Another Dimension!… and the rumors were so true.

Carrie lends her vocals on a song called “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You.” The song is country tinged and isn’t the legendary rock group’s first connection to Carrie and the country genre.

The two first were paired when they surprised audiences at the 46^th ACM Awards with a mash-up of “Walk This Way” and “Undo It.”

CMT joined the Carrie and Steven next for a special pre-Super Bowl edition of Crossroads.

Not to mention Steven is a former judge on American Idol, which Carrie won in 2005.

And one more thing Steven and Carrie have in common… Aerosmith kicks off its “Global Warming Tour” in Carrie’s home state tomorrow night.

Carrie, on the other hand, is on the road with Hunter Hayes, stopping Friday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
