Posted: Oct 26, 2012
Taylor Swift revealed to Katie Couric on the ABC special All Access Nashville that she will embark on the “Red Tour,” beginning in March of 2013.The announcement comes days after Taylor released her fourth album Red, which sold 500,000 copies in one day and is slated to sell more than one million copies in its first week.
The “Red Tour” will feature special guest Ed Sheeran, who duets with Taylor on “Everything Has Changed,” track 14 on the new album.
The tour will make its first stop in Omaha, Neb., and will continue throughout 2013, making stops – so far – in 29 states and three Canadian provinces. The tour will also stop in nine stadiums.
The “Red Tour” is the follow-up tour to Taylor’s 2011 “Speak Now World Tour,” which made stops in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia and raked in more than $40 million.
