Taken 2 took the box office No. 1 spot again this week, but Kevin James’s new one Here Comes the Boom didn’t fare as well…

Ben Affleck’s Argo thrilled the box office this weekend, earning an estimated $20.1 million and snagging the No. 2 seat at the box office…

The truth-based Iranian-hostage crisis thriller surpassed the original expectations for the film, and was the biggest opening for a film starring Ben since 2003′s Daredevil.

Taken 2 defended its box office title in its second weekend in theaters, bringing in $22.2 million. But the box office didn’t bode well for Kevin James’ new comedy Here Comes The Boom, which was actually more of a bust than a boom.

The comedic flick earned $12 million and landed in fifth place, marking the worst opening in James’ big-screen career.

Ethan Hawke’s horror film Sinister snagged third place with $18.3 million, while only costing $3 million to make.

    1. “Taken 2,” $22.5 million ($41 million international).

    2. “Argo,” $20.1 million.

    3. “Sinister,” $18.3 million ($4 million international).

    4. “Hotel Transylvania,” $17.3 million ($13.7 million international).

    5. “Here Comes the Boom,” $12 million.

    6. “Pitch Perfect,” $9.3 million.

    7. “Frankenweenie,” $7 million ($4.9 million international).

    8. “Looper,” $6.3 million ($7.5 million international).

    9. “Seven Psychopaths,” $4.3 million.

    10. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” $2.2 million.
