This summer Lady Antebellum took their “Own the Night 2012 World Tour” abroad, but on each international stop, the trio had a little piece of home”¦ or more specifically, a piece of pong.

It was “the year of the pong,” Dave says.

The band and crew (minus Hillary and all other girls) competed in a ping-pong tournament all tour long.

“This was the tour of ping pong,” Charles says. “Dave and I called ourselves “˜The Dynasty.’ We were on a doubles team together, and it got really intense.”

When Lady’s final show wraps tomorrow night at a sold-out Syndey Opera House, so will the crew’s ping pong tourney.

So far Charles says he and Dave have the best record. But Dave says that’s not surprising.

“We threaten [our crew competition] with flights home, docked pay,” he says.

Lady Antebellum will return to the States to release their Christmas album “On This Winter’s Night” October 22nd and a live concert DVD chronicling their world tour on December 4th.
