With rumors spreading like wildfire that Olympian Ryan Lochte was slated to become the next Bachelor on the hit ABC show, show execs are finally revealing who landed the spot!

Will the gold medalist be winning over hearts of 25 lucky ladies on the show’s next season?

Head honchos say nope!

Instead, former Bachelorette contestant Sean Lowe will take on the role.

Sean tried to win over the heart of last season’s bachelorette Emily Maynard, who ultimately chose Jef Holm as her knight in shining armor.

Luckily for Sean, though, he’s getting another shot at love!

Sean’s season of The Bachelor has already begun production and will air in January of 2013.
