When Eric Church has some downtime at home, he’s playing with chainsaws and chopping up trees!

The rowdy country star tells Rolling Stone he relieves stress with his new logging hobby.

“It drives people that work with me nuts that I’m out there by myself with chainsaws,” he says.

But the “Creepin’” singer calls the loud and dangerous hobby”¦ therapeutic.

“When you’re out there,” Eric says, “you can’t think of anything but that saw and that tree because if you do, you’re gonna kill yourself.”

All the tree destruction is in anticipation of a new lake Eric’s putting in at his Nashville home.
