Could Dierks Bentley be dancing his way onto reality TV anytime soon?

These days it’s country stars galore on the small screen, but Dierks reveals fans can count him out!

“The first thing I got asked to do was the dancing thing Dancing With the Stars back in 2005 or something,” he says (quote via The Country Vibe).

 The country superstar’s two left feet led him to his decision not to compete for the mirror ball trophy.

“I’m a terrible dancer,” Dierks says, “so even the best person couldn’t teach me to dance.”

One thing would bring the “5-1-5-0″ singer to reality TV alongside Blake Shelton, John Rich and former DWTS contestant Sara Evans: more time in the day.

“I just love writing songs,” he says. “I love being in a band and being on the road. I don’t know where the time would come from. You’d have to create more time.”

Dierks heads to North Carolina, New Jersey and Illinois next on tour.
