• Carrie Underwood Brings Stormy Weather on Tour?

    Posted: Sep 14, 2012

Is Carrie Underwood a country music megastar”¦ or a country music meteorologist?

The singer kicks off her “Blown Away Tour” tonight in New Hampshire, and Carrie reveals to the AP that her forecast calls from a bit of stormy weather.

“We have a lot of weather-related things going on in the show,” she says. “We really start off kind of heavy and a bit tumultuous.”

Just like the dramatic new video for Carrie’s current single “Blown Away,” the stage is set for some thunder and lightning.

“We have a lot of beautiful screens behind me and a lot of beautiful environments we can make on the stage that tell a story,” Carrie says.

Appropriately, Hunter Hayes will offer up a “Storm Warning” as Carrie’s opening act all tour long. Hunter will re-join Carrie during her set for a special duet.

No word yet on what the pair will sing

After tonight’s New Hampshire show, Carrie heads to Connecticut for the tour’s second stop on Saturday.
