Country stars have very unique ways to get inspired to write songs, but Taylor Swift’s process takes the cake ““ or in her case, the pie.

British pop sensation Ed Sheeran collaborated with Taylor on her upcoming album Red. The two wrote together at Taylor’s home, and Ed reveals to Rolling Stone magazine why the session with Taylor got a little bouncy.

“We wrote a song on a trampoline, ate some apple pie and had a jam,” Ed says. “It was very fun.”

The singer says he wrote not one but two songs with the country megastar. But only one cut will appear on the album.

“It came in 20 minutes, really”¦ We just had two guitars and strummed it out,” he says.

Something else Ed found easy was getting to know Taylor.

He calls her a “warm soul,” almost just as warm as the apple pie the two shared”¦

No word yet on the name of the song the pair wrote. Red drops October 22^nd.
